  35. The 2.0.31pre9 kernel and new root disc (0907) worked fine
  36. during the install.

  38. However now I have another problem.

  40. The install bootloader part of the install failed, so I
  41. followed the instructions in the FAQ and created a
  42. /etc/boot.conf.  But when I run loadmap -v it reports that
  43. /dev/root doesn't exist.

  45. Can anyone help with this?
